Vanessa Knorst is a Graphic designer, art director and visual artist, with a wide expertise in creating and developing graphic concepts and corporate and institutional images. Vanessa has an impressive range of technical skills and is capable of creating and developing best quality static and motion graphics, animation, or stop motion. She has also worked as an Art director in several short films and TV programmes. She works as art director and static & motion graphic designer at IOSPHERA · Comunication x Solidarity and at Making Docs. Vanessa graduated in Painting at the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná [EMBAP], Brasil . She then attended Academic Training in Graphic Design at the Federal University of Paraná  and obtained a Postgraduate degree in contemporary Art History at EMBAP , a Postgraduate degree in Film at Tuiuti University of Paraná , a Master degree in Communication and Culture at Tuiuti University of Paraná [2003/2004] and a Post-graduate degree in Design and Television at Elisava School, Barcelona . Vanessa has a long work experience at a number of design and communication agencies like New Roman, Story and CO, Guión Comunicación Visual, Opus Multipla Comunicación Integrada and Lumen Design. She has won several Awards for her works, as for example: 3rd prize: Poster for Brazilian House Museum · 2000; the 5th prize: Philips Award for New Talent – 1997; and the 1st prize: Poster for Winter Festival of Ouro Preto · 1997.
